I’m a passionate Journalist, Video Editor, and Technical Production Manager with over ten years of experience in television, live broadcast, newsroom, and field production environments. My background spans from creative storytelling to technical leadership: leading teams, optimizing workflows, and managing complex, high-pressure projects with precision and collaboration.

My journey started in Brazil, where I worked at Globo, the country’s largest TV broadcaster, as a video editor, where I edited high-profile news and documentary segments before advancing into technical coordination and production management roles. There, I managed control room and field operations for national newscasts reaching more than 100 million viewers, implemented new production workflows, and trained editors to deliver faster, higher-quality results. My experience now extends to EWTN News in Washington, D.C., where I continue to bridge the gap between editorial vision and technical execution in a fast-paced newsroom.

As Producer and Senior Editor, I led the editorial vision, shaping the narrative structure, pacing, and emotional arc of the film. I oversaw media organization, story construction, graphics integration, color correction, audio mixing, and final delivery.

This feature package travels to Chiclayo, Peru, offering an inside look at the soup kitchen founded by Pope Leo XIV during his missionary years. As the video editor, I shaped the story’s pacing and visual narrative, balancing on-location footage, interviews, and natural sound to highlight both the human impact and spiritual significance of the story.

For this five-day event coverage montage, I organized the raw footage, selected the most powerful sound bites and visuals, and used natural sound to create a fully immersive experience.

I started as a video editor in Rio, working across some of the most prominent journalistic and entertainment divisions at Globo, including Jornal Nacional, GloboNews, sports coverage, and long-form specials. I worked on everything from urgent daily packages to 30-minute specials and documentaries. Often, I did so under extreme time pressure and evolving editorial conditions. Editing quickly was one thing, but telling clear, emotionally resonant stories under pressure became my specialty. I also supported live newscasts as an EVS live replay operator, providing rapid video playback during fast-paced coverage. I collaborated closely with the control room team to ensure precise timing and flawless technical execution.

I worked closely with the journalist to shape the narrative, identify key sound bites, and develop a compelling visual arc that honored the facts and the people behind them. This was an urgent and sensitive story, and I’m proud that our teamwork was recognized on air. It was uncommon and meaningful for the host to name both me and the producer before the story aired.
As Technical Production Manager, I was responsible for coordinating all technical and logistical aspects of the production — from internal and external equipment allocation to crew coordination in another city. I oversaw the setup and technical readiness of the theater where the band’s performance took place, ensuring seamless integration between the field and studio teams. This segment demanded precise planning, teamwork, and adaptability to deliver a technically flawless and emotionally impactful surprise on live television.
In this tribute to one of Brazil’s most beloved singers, I created a heartfelt narrative through editing, honoring his legacy and the deep emotional connection he shared with generations of fans. The piece balances archival footage, interviews, and music, creating a story that feels both intimate and universal.
